IDee Reaches 500 Users and 1,270 Registered Assets in First Week as Digital Ownership Platform Expands Across Europe
IDee, a new Greek technology startup focused on digital ownership, has reached 500 users and 1,270 registered physical assets within its first week of launch, as the platform begins expanding its presence across European markets.
The startup is building what it describes as a digital passport for physical objects — a persistent digital identity that can accompany cars, watches, electronics, collectibles and other valuable assets throughout their lifecycle.
The concept addresses a familiar problem: the information attached to the things people own is often fragmented across receipts, warranties, certificates, service records, repair invoices, manuals, serial numbers and old emails.
IDee aims to bring that information together in one structured digital profile.

Each object can have its own Digital Passport, while the platform’s Living History records relevant events such as purchase, maintenance, repairs, upgrades and other changes over time. A separate Proof Vault is designed to store supporting documents including receipts, warranties, certificates and manuals.
Users can also control which information remains private and which can be shared through a public version of the object’s profile.
What makes the company’s first-week figures particularly relevant is the level of asset registration. With 1,270 objects created by 500 users, the platform recorded an average of approximately 2.54 assets per user during its first seven days.
That early behaviour suggests users may see the service as more than a single-item utility. Instead, IDee is testing whether consumers are willing to build a broader digital record of the things they own.
The company is now gradually extending its presence beyond Greece, with early press activity and market outreach underway across Spain, Italy, France, the United Kingdom and the United Arab Emirates.
Rather than launching commercially in every market at once, IDee is following a staged approach based on local communities, media exposure, creators and ambassadors.
“Physical ownership is still surprisingly fragmented,” says Konstantinos Tzelepis, founder of IDee. “We keep proof of ownership, service history and important documents in different places, and much of that information is eventually lost. Our goal is to give physical assets a persistent digital identity that becomes more useful over time.”
The longer-term vision goes beyond document storage.
IDee is developing the platform around ownership history, verification, controlled sharing and future ownership transfer, with the aim of making the digital passport increasingly useful when an object is serviced, insured, shared or eventually resold.

The company is also exploring how technologies such as blockchain-based verification could later be used to strengthen the integrity of selected records, although such functionality is still part of the platform’s development roadmap.
For IDee, the first week represents an early test rather than proof of scale. But 500 users, 1,270 registered assets and initial cross-border media activity give the startup its first measurable signals as it attempts to build a broader digital ownership layer for physical goods.
