Moneycontrol Household Book – Free Control of Income and Expenses
It almost seems a bit old-fashioned: Hardly anyone keeps the good old household book from grandma’s time anymore. If income and expenses are still compared, it’s usually done on a computer using Excel or another calculation program. Now iDevices can do this too: MoneyControl, a universal app for iPhone and iPad, already records all expenses by category and person.

Many families complain: Everything is getting more expensive: the weekly shopping, clothes for the children, cosmetics, sports club memberships, or the costs of water, gas, and electricity.
If you notice that your family account is consistently in the red at the end of the month, you should conduct a financial analysis to determine exactly what all the money is being spent on throughout the month. This is the only way to set budgets, eliminate unnecessary money wasters, and build up reserves.
MoneyControl is a financial manager for families. The app can be installed on iPhones and iPads – and synchronized via iCloud. The app manages all income, can automatically record regular expenses like rent, and records everyday expenses as they occur. This way, not a single euro is forgotten.
The password-protected app can easily assign individual transactions to specific people or categories. This makes it easy to track who in the family spends the most money or how much money is spent on groceries each month. It’s even possible to create a personal budget in the app or use accounts such as “cash,” “credit card,” “checking account,” or “savings account.”
Balance Your Budget, Own Your Life
The data collected while on the move can be sent to your own PC at any time as a CSV file via Wi-Fi or by email – for example, for further analysis in Excel.
MoneyControl 4 brings a major innovation. It’s now possible to create, print, and send various reports in PDF format from within the app. These include the “Account Statement,” “Summary,” “Development,” and “Detail” reports. Users can specify the time periods to be summarized in the report. The PDF module can be purchased via an optional in-app purchase (€0.89).
Version 4.0 also includes the following improvements:
